Between the 7th and 10th of October, will take place the European Week of Regions and Cities 2019, in Brussels, Belgium.

With this  year’s headline “Regions and Cities: Pillars of the EU’s Future”, it will be the meeting point of more than six thousand people from all over Europe and beyond.

The four-day event showcases the cities and regions capacity to create growth, to increase the European Union cohesion policy and to prove the importance of local and regional governance for the European Union, taking also into consideration the EU macroregional strategies 

The 2018 edition of the event gathered:

6.700 participants from 79 countries
+140 partner regions and cities from 30 countries
+170 sessions
600 speakers
28 local events around Europe
