The 4th EUSAIR Forum, focused on the topics related to the field of Tourism and Blue Growth, took place in Budva (Montenegro) on 7-8 May 2019, under the slogan “Integration for people, development for the region”. FAIC took part in this two-day of debates and conferences as key stakeholder for the development of new territorial synergies within the AI area.

On the wider context of the 4th EUSAIR event, the 6 May 2019 took place the 2nd Annual Conference of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of commerce, Cities and Universities, respectively namely the Forum of Chambers of Commerce (Forum AIC), the Forum of Cities (FAIC) represented by the Secretary General Ms. Ida Simonella, and Uniadrion. The conference represented an important step forward in building and consolidating relations among stakeholders and catalysing moment for all activities and projects related to the EUSAIR implementation.

During the EUSAIR event took place several side events among which the FAIC Executive Board and the AI-NURECC initiative’s events (FAIC is partner of this project with the support of Forum AIC, Uniadrion, CRPM and AIE). The CRPM, coordinator of the initiative, organised a seminar that falls under the AI-NURECC Skills Development and Training Action. Furthermore, the Forum AIC organized several workgroups on women entrepreneurship, societal challenges and economic and policy analysis.
